The Yellville-Summit School District will be searching for new leadership for its high school football program. Panthers’ head coach Tommy Britt was selected last Thursday for the same position at Cave City High School.

With the move, Britt will be reunited with his family. His wife, Amanda, is in her first year as the superintendent of the Concord School District after previously serving as the principal of Cotter High School. She is currently residing in Batesville with their daughters, and Britt says he is looking forward to getting back with his family.

Britt has spent the past four years at Yellville-Summit, and it was his first head coaching position. He says he learned the ins-and-outs of being a head coach during his time with the Panthers, and it’s not just about the Xs and Os.
