A Boone County man, 31-year-old Sean William Hull of Harrison, was arrested Tuesday on felony charges of negligent homicide, battery in the first degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor as a result of a head-on collision February 28, 2016, on U.S. 62 near George’s Creek, which killed a Yellville woman and injured four others. Hull was booked into the Marion County Jail on a $25,000 bond and released the same day. He is scheduled for court April 26th.

According to the arrest affidavit, 67-year-old Betty Bogle of Yellville was driving with 66-year-old Don Bogle as a passenger. The report says Bogle’s vehicle was traveling westbound, and Hull’s car was eastbound when Hull crossed the center line and hit them head-on. Hull had two minor passengers. Everyone was injured as a result of the crash and taken to hospitals in Springfield and Mountain Home. Betty Bogle was pronounced dead at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Arkansas State Police Trooper Jackie Stinnett suspected Hull was under the influence of drugs. A blood sample was taken and results from the crime lab showed he had methamphetamine in his system. He faces additional charges of driving under the influence of drugs, failure to maintain a vehicle and driving left of the center line.
