Flippin woman arrested on felony drug charges

A Flippin woman, 42-year-old Catherine Donna Cross was arrested by Mountain Home Police Monday on two counts of felony drug possession charges after a traffic stop. She was booked into the Baxter County Jail on a $2,500 bond and released the same day.According to the arrest affidavit, Cross had multiple warrants. When she was taken into custody the arresting officer noticed her trying to hide a baggie in her pants. After questioning she eventually admitted the baggie contained drugs.

A field test was positive for methamphetamine.

During a search of her vehicle officers found a glass smoking pipe, a green leaf substance and five white colored pills believed to be roxicet or oxycodone.

Cross has a history of drug arrests dating back to 2006 and has been sent to prison twice on the manufacturing and delivery of illegal narcotics.
