Mountain Home School Board to consider over $673,000 in tech upgrades

The Mountain Home School Board will meet in regular session Thursday evening at 6 in the central office board room.  Items on the meeting’s agenda include consideration of just over $673,000 in technological upgrades including iPads with charging carts, upgrading switches for future devices such as VOIP, security cameras and network upgrades for area schools, a four year Macbook lease for teachers and continuation of year two of the Technology plan to provide 990 Chromebooks.  Other items on the meeting’s agenda include the purchase of new football uniforms, which occurs every four to six years and an application to have federal funds released for Special Education.  The board will also meet in a personnel executive session.
