Marion County rabies clinics benefitting 4-H

The first of four rabies clinics in Marion County is set for Saturday with a portion of the proceeds benefitting 4-H.The locations and hours Saturday morning are Svenson Apple Barn at 9, Caney Fire Department at 10:30, and Bruno First Baptist Church at 11:30. Locations and hours in the afternoon are Pyatt Post Office at 12:30 and George’s Creek at 1:30.

The clinic is in partnership with veterinarians Gary Ponder, Robyn Theobald and Sarah Bailey, with the price of vaccinations $9 per cat or dog. Canine and feline distemper paravovirus vaccines also available. For every rabies vaccine administered, a 50 cent donation will be given to Marion County 4-H.

Participants are not required to reside in Marion County.
