The Baxter Bomb Squad Robotics team is in Houston this weekend competing with over 400 teams from the United States and abroad in the World Championship FIRST Robotics Tournament. After winning seven of their 10 qualification matches Friday, the team ended the day in second place as they headed into the alliance selection Saturday morning, according to team member Morgan Jenkins.
The Bomb Squad began qualification matches Saturday morning in an three team alliance with teams from Harding Academy in Searcy and Mandeville, Louisiana. Jenkins says following the qualification matches the teams will enter final competition.
