Two Fulton County residents and a West Plains woman were injured Friday afternoon in a two vehicle accident near Cabool. A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 64 year old Patsy L. Cross of West Plains was transported to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield with serious injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, 51 year old Sarah J. Pace and her passenger, 58 year old James A. Pace both of Mammoth Spring were transported to Ozark Medical Center in West Plains with moderate injuries.
The accident on U. S. Highway 60 a half mile east of Cabool occurred when the 1993 Chrysler driven by Cross slid off the road, crossed the median and became airborne striking head-on the 2014 Chevrolet driven by Pace. Both vehicles were totaled and all three of the injured were wearing seat belts in the 1:25 p.m. accident.
