A Midway woman, 32-year-old Connie Renee Williams was arrested by a Baxter County Sheriff’s deputy early Monday morning on felony drug possession and paraphernalia charges, as well as other misdemeanor charges. She is being held in the Baxter County Jail on a $3,220 bond and is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court Thursday and District Court May 25th.According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, Williams was pulled over on Highway 5 North after the deputy noticed the vehicle she was driving had expired dealer tags. Williams could not produce a license when asked because it was suspended. She also had outstanding arrest warrants for failure to appear.
After a search of the vehicle approximately four-hundredths of a gram of suspected methamphetamine, 25 acetaminophen/propoxyphene tablets and other drug paraphernalia items were found.
