38th annual Health Fair and Expo offers a number of free services

The 38th annual Health Fair and Expo presented by Baxter Regional Medical Center, in conjunction with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, is gearing up once again and kicks off Wednesday morning at 7:30 in the main exhibit building at the Baxter County Fairgrounds. The event includes various free health screenings and continues through 4:00 in the afternoon. It will be open again Thursday from 7:30 in the morning until noon. There is no charge and lines generally start forming at approximately 7:00 in the morning.

Tobias Pugsley, Director of Marketing for Baxter Regional Medical Center, says there will be 74 different booths to visit inside the building. Four organizations are scheduled to be set up outside as well.

BRMC is providing free lab testing for cholesterol, blood sugar and Prostate Specific Antigen(PSA).
Pugsley says there’s a new free service being offered.

Blood tests are only available until 11:00.
Pugsley says, the expo has something for everyone including information from financial planning and healthcare, to services for retirement living.
