MH soccer splits with Greenbrier

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams split their games at home Monday night against Greenbrier.

The Bombers improved to 13-0 and wrapped up the 6A/5A-2 District championship with a 2-1 win. Mountain Home was down 1-0 at the half before Xaco Baonza and Talyn Benton scored second half goals. Mitchell McDonald and Conner Stanton each had assists.
Mountain Home out-shot Greenbrier 20-4.

In the girl’s game, Greenbrier defeated Mountain Home 3-0. Emma Martin had nine goal saves. The Lady Bombers fall to 10-5-1 overall and 7-3 in district play.

In the J.V. boy’s game, Greenbrier topped Mountain Home 2-0.

The Mountain Home soccer teams will travel to Searcy Wednesday night.
