Wednesday schedule includes conference tourney for baseball, softball

Baseball and softball make up the local Wednesday schedule as Izard County High School in Brockwell will be the site for the 1A-2 North Conference Tournaments. In baseball, Norfork faces the host Cougars at 4:00, and Calico Rock takes on Hillcrest at 6:00. In softball, Norfork and Hillcrest get underway at 4:00, and Mammoth Spring plays Izard County at 5:30.

The Mountain Home High School soccer games at Searcy have been postponed.
