Body found in western Arkansas identified as Lavaca man

LAVACA, Ark. (AP) A body found near the Arkansas River in western Arkansas has been identified as that of a missing Lavaca man.

The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office says the body found Tuesday is 29-year-old Corby Campbell.

Sheriff’s Capt. Philip Pevehouse says Campbell had been reported missing April 16.

The body was found in the Vache Grasse Public Access area near Lavaca and has been sent to the state Crime Lab to determine the cause of death.
