New student kindergarten registration for the Cotter and Mountain Home school districts has been set.At Cotter, registration is set for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9-2 at the Cotter Elementary office.
At Mountain Home, registration is set for May 5 from 8-4 at Mountain Home Kindergarten. Parents are asked to bring their child with them for the registration at Mountain Home. Children will be given a short kindergarten readiness test. No appointment is necessary. Parents should allow one hour for the registration process.
At both school districts a number of documents are necessary in order for registering students. Required documents are copies of the child’s birth certificate or official hospital record, the child’s Social Security card, the child’s current immunization or shot record and a current physical within the last two years. Proof of residence is also required.
