The Bull Shoals-White River State Park kayaking tour scheduled for Saturday has been canceled due to the potential for inclement weather. Those who have pre-paid for the event can use their tickets for a new event, a full moon kayaking tour, to take place on May 13th, from 6:30 to 9:00 in the evening. The cost will be $20 for Adults and $10 for children 6 to 12 years old. Children under 13 must be in a tandem boat with an adult.
Participants will join a park interpreter for a full moon tour of Bull Shoals Lake. Kayakers will paddle the shores and coves near Brown’s Beach looking at the rock formations, the plants growing near the shore, and possibly some local wildlife
All gear is provided however, it is advised to wear clothes and shoes that can get wet, bring a water bottle and flashlight. A headlamp is preferred.
