There is a possibility of severe weather this weekend for the Twin Lakes Area. In addition, storms could also lead to the potential of flooding.
Meteorologist Lance Pyle of the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says heavy rains are expected throughout the weekend.

Pyle adds with the amount of rain that has already fallen, the possibility of flash flooding cannot be ruled out.

Flash flood warnings for southern missouri will continue throughout Saturday morning, and a flash flood watch is in effect for the entire Twin Lakes Area through Sunday evening.
