MH teams continue conference tournaments

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams return to Bomber Stadium Tuesday. The Bombers and Lady Bombers have home field advantage in the semifinals of the 6A-East Conference Tournament.
Mountain Home’s girls take the field first as their opponent will be Jonesboro. The second-seeded Lady Bombers are 11-5-1 after shutting out Jacksonville on Monday. Jonesboro advanced to the semifinals by defeating Little Rock Hall. The Lady Hurricane is the number three seed. Kickoff is scheduled for five p.m.
The Mountain Home boys will wrap up action by looking to extend their undefeated season with a win over Searcy. The top-seeded Bombers are 14-0 after West Memphis forted in the first round. Searcy is the number four seed in the tournament. The Lions began the postseason by eliminating Marion. Gametime is set for 7:00.

It’s also a return to the home field for Mountain Home’s softball team. It’s a “win or go home” situation as the Lady Bombers host West Memphis in the consolation bracket of the 6A-East Conference Tournament.
Mountain Home has a mark of 4-14 on the year. The sixth-seeded Lady Bombers lost to Searcy on Friday. West Memphis ended up losing at Jonesboro the day before. The Lady Blue Devils are seeded seventh.
The first pitch at Freedom Field at McClain Park is schedule for 5:00.

The Mountain Home High School baseball team will take another road trip to continue the 6A-East Conference Tournament. The Bombers’ semifinal opponent will be Marion.
Mountain Home is 9-15 on the season. The seventh-seeded Bombers pulled off an upset Friday over the number two seed from Searcy. Marion has the number three seed in the tournament. The Patriots advanced to the semifinals with a win over West Memphis.
Gametime is slated for 5:00.
