Corps closes spillway gates at Norfork

The Little Rock District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers closed the spillway gates at Norfork Dam at 8:00 Wednesday but continues to release 6,000 cubic feet per second through the two turbine units.The lake is currently at elevation 578.4 and holding steady. Rainfall is forecasted for the White River drainage basin this week and the Corps says they are monitoring the situation.
