Arkansas guard Jaylen Barford returning for senior season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Arkansas guard Jaylen Barford says he is returning
for his senior season after last month entering the NBA draft without hiring an
agent .

In his first season after transferring from junior college, Barford averaged
12.8 points per game last season and helped Arkansas reach the NCAA Tournament
for the second time in three years. He started 30 of 36 games and matched his
career-best with 23 points in a win at South Carolina in February.

The 6-foot-3 guard from Tennessee says he is returning to take care of
“unfinished business” in the NCAA Tournament next season.

Barford was the top junior college recruit in the country a year earlier after
leading the country in scoring with an average of 26.2 points per game.

The Razorbacks finished 26-10 and lost in the second round to eventual national
champion North Carolina.
