(AP)Arkansas State Police say there is an active manhunt
for a suspect after three people were shot in Yell County.

Police spokeswoman Liz Chapman says the shooting happened early Thursday in the Dardanelle-Chickalah area, about 60 miles northwest of Little Rock.Arkansas State Police is assisting local law enforcement in the search.
Authorities advised that people stay away from the area.
Details about the conditions of the three people injured were not immediately
available.
