A pair of local high school soccer teams will be in action Saturday with a spot in next weekend’s championship games on the line.
Mountain Home’s boys will compete in the semifinals of the Class 6A State Tournament at Siloam Springs. The Bombers will be paired with Russellville.
Mountain Home is currently 17-0 on the season as the top-seeded team from the East. The Bombers blanked El Dorado on Friday. Russellville was able to double up Jonesboro in the previous round. The Cyclones are the number two seed in the West.
Kickoff at Panther Stadium is scheduled for four p.m.
The Harrison girls are in Jonesboro as they take part in the semifinals of the Class 5A State Tournament on the campus of Valley View High School. The Lady Goblins meet the host Lady Blazers at 2:00.
