The Art Odyssey’s 7th annual, self-guided tour continues Friday and Saturday. The Art Odyssey tour offers an opportunity to visit the working studios of artists, located in the Twin Lakes area, to see them at work and browse through their artwork inside their personal studios. This year’s artists include residents from Mountain Home, Flippin, Yellville, Lakeview, Salesville and Everton. There is no charge for the tour and no tickets are required. The idea for the event came in October, 2010 during the dedication of the Donald W. Reynolds Library. Artists were on hand to discuss their works, purchased from the library, on display that day. Local supporters of the arts suggested some type of tour and a meeting was arranged, which formed a committee, and the Art Odyssey was born.

It’s mission is to encourage public awareness of art and artistic expression in Arkansas’ Ozarks.
