Baxter County man arrested for 119th time

A Baxter County man previously booked into the Baxter County Jail at least 118 times has been arrested again, along with a second individual, on drug charges after having sold methamphetamine to an informant.

According to a press release from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 44-year-old Doyle Gene George, a current probationer, and 50-year-old Kathleen Elaine Pieri of Baxter County, were arrested Friday.

According to Sheriff John Montgomery, the informant made three separate buys from Kathleen Pieri between March 13th and March 22nd of approximately 3.4 grams of methamphetamine in total. Pieri allegedly delivered the drugs on two dates, and Doyle George allegedly delivered the drugs to the informant on the third date. Pieri utilized a cellular telephone to facilitate these drug deals. Each of these transactions was monitored and recorded by investigators.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed by investigators, George has been booked into the Baxter County Jail at least 118 times since 1995. He has been sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Correction four separate times and has been on parole or probation five separate times for a total of approximately 15 years.

Pieri is charged with three felony counts of delivery of controlled substance, methamphetamine   and three felony counts of unlawful use of a communication device.

Pieri’s bond is set at $15,000.

George is charged with one felony count each of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, probation violation and habitual offender, a penalty enhancement

George’s bond is set at $15,000 on the drug charge but he is being held without bond on the probation violation.
