Graduation ceremonies are set for Friday evening for the Calico Rock class of 2017. The evening’s events begin at 6:30 with the student produced video highlighting class memories. The graduation ceremony begins at 7. The events will be held in the Calico Rock Auditorium at the elementary school.
Thirty-nine seniors are scheduled to receive their diplomas. Valedictorian is Hunter Johnson, and salutatorian is Kaleb Newcomb.
There are also 10 honor graduates. Those graduating with honors are Cameron Teague, Johnna Long, Sarah Mason, Falon Shrake, Cassie Lindsey, Hannah Gobin, Josie McGowan, and Camron Holowell.
