Daniel Lewis Milde of rural Mountain Home entered a no contest plea in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday on charges stemming from an incident in July last year in which it was alleged he forced his way into a home and attacked some of those in the residence.

Milde was sentenced to five years probation. He will also spend 90 days in the Baxter County jail beginning in August.

The 31-year-old Milde was arrested after Baxter County Deputies responded to a disturbance call at an address along Wildcat Shoals Road. When deputies arrived, they found Milde bleeding and unconscious in the inside doorway of the residence.

Three females — one the owner of the property — said that Milde had been kicked out of the residence earlier in the evening. He returned to the house, was refused entry, but forced his way in and struck one of the females.

At that point, another of the women attacked Milde, but Milde was able to get on top of the woman and began to beat her with his fists.

A person identified as the boyfriend of one of the females came into the room and began to beat Milde until he was unconscious. The boyfriend told officers he had been in the back of house when he heard the commotion created by the fight between Milde and the females. The boyfriend said after he attacked Milde, he initially fled the residence fearing he might be arrested.

Milde and one of the females were transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center. Milde was then flown to a trauma center in Springfield.
