Nosari receives full ride to University of Arkansas

Mountain Home High School graduating senior, Hunt Nosari, has earned an academic full-ride to the University of Arkansas, and will also have the option to study abroad. Nosari has accepted the Honors College Fellowship at the University of Arkansas and received the Governor’s Distinguished Scholars Award for his academic achievements.As an Honors College Fellow, Nosari’s scholarship will be applied over four years to use towards room and board, tuition, fees, along with a chance to study abroad. Fellows are chosen based upon their academic success and must achieve at least a 32 on their ACT, graduate with a minimum of a 3.8 GPA, submit written essays, and interview with the University prior to selection.

The Governor’s Award is presented to up to 375 students in Arkansas who have been named National Merit, or National Achievement Finalists with a minimum 32 ACT score and 3.5 GPA. The award is valued at $40,000 over four years, and will cover tuition, room and board, along with other mandatory fees.

Nosari says the study abroad option is a valued piece, as he will enter as an Engineering major with a German Studies minor.

Nosari is the son of Chris and Kelley Nosari.
