The National Park Service is announcing three holiday concerts at the Buffalo National River. The family-friendly shows at the Buffalo Point Amphitheater will be part of the celebrations for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day.

The first concert will be Saturday evening at seven as the band Arkansauce will take the stage. Arkansauce began in 2011 in northwest Arkansas and has developed a unique blend of bluegrass, country and folk music.

The Mellow Mountain Band of Mountain Home will perform July 1st at 7:00 in honor of Independence Day. The Mellow Mountain Band plays cover songs, but they put a folksy and acoustic spin on them.

The last show is scheduled for September 3rd at 7:00 featuring the Root Diggers from St. Louis. The Root Diggers are a traditional old-time string band who have played at Buffalo Point multiple times.

All shows are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Buffalo Point Ranger Station at 870-449-4311.
