Cardinals get blanked by Rockies

DENVER (AP) Rookie Antonio Senzatela threw eight sharp innings to grab a share of the major league lead in wins, and the Colorado Rockies beat the St. Louis Cardinals 10-0. Charlie Blackmon had a homer and run-scoring single as part of an eight-run eighth in the game Friday night. Fresh off a 7-3 road swing, the Rockies kept right on rolling behind Senzatela.

The series continues Saturday in Denver as Adam Wainwright starts for the Cardinals, and the Rockies go with Kyle Freeland. The first pitch is scheduled for 8:10. Saturday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The Ameren Pregame Show begins at 7:15.
