Doyle Gene George and Kathleen Pieri both of Mountain Home were back in Circuit Court Thursday to answer new charges brought against them.

Both entered pleas of not guilty. George was order to reappear on June 22nd and Pieri on June 29th.

George is no stranger to the legal system. According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the 44-year-old George has been booked into the county jail at least 118 times since 1995 on various charges, been in state prison four separate time and been on parole or probation five separate times for a total of approximately 15 years.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, George and Pieri were arrested for selling methamphetamine to confidential informants working with law enforcement between March 13th and March 22nd. The 38-year-old Pieri is alleged to have delivered the drug on two occasions and George once.

The single time George delivered the drug, Pieri told the confidential informant she was unable to make the sale since she was getting dressed for a court appearance.

Approximately 3.4 grams of methamphetamine in total were involved in the three sales. It is further alleged that Pieri used a cell phone to facilitate the transactions.

George and Pieri both face charges in connection with the alleged sales. In addition, George is charged with being a habitual offender and violating probation and Pieri with unlawful use of a communications device.
