Cotter Memorial Day Ceremony set for Tuesday

The inaugural Cotter Memorial Day Ceremony scheduled for Tuesday evening at six at Walnut Hill Cemetery. In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the Smith-Johnson VFW Post 5742.

The city of Cotter will be assisted with the ceremony by the VFW and the Joe P. Joslin, Jr. American Legion Post 23. North Central Arkansas Veterans Council President Linda Reed will represent the American Legion to open the ceremony.

In addition, hot dogs and drinks will be on sale for a three-dollar donation, and proceeds will benefit the Walnut Hill Cemetery maintenance fund. For more information, contact Cotter City Hall at 870-435-6326 or Hammack at 870-404-8898.
