ABC/Image Group LA Dierks Bentley brings home the sixteenth #1 of his career this week, as “Black” ascends to the top of the country airplay chart.

“Every single we’ve put out… has been a really important piece of the story of this album…” Dierks says, referencing his previous hits “Different for Girls” and “Somewhere on a Beach.”

“‘Black’ is the one that’s really the cornerstone of the whole project,” he goes on, “and it’s about my wife. Watching this one rise to the top of the chart is extra sweet.”

Dierks’ wife Cassidy traveled with him to Iceland to shoot the steamy video for the song.

This weekend, Dierks takes his What the Hell Tour with Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi to Hartford, Connecticut; Mansfield, Massachusetts; and Holmdel, New Jersey.
