Donald W. Reynolds Library to host computer classes

The Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County offers a variety of beginning computer classes in June.The Windows of Beginners Class will be held Thursday at 10:30 to teach participants about the mouse, desktop, icons, task bar, and keyboard. Attendees will also learn about the Windows 10 features such as tiles, charms bar, among other new features.

The Internet Basics Class will be held June 8th at 10:30 to teach area residents how to use the mouse and keyboard, along with lessons on how to surf the internet.

The Email Basics Class, scheduled for June 15th at 10:30, will give attendees an opportunity to learn how to create and send emails and attach files.

The Word for the Workforce Class, scheduled for June 22nd at 10:15, will teach participants how to use fonts, text formatting tools, and basic editing skills. This class will help residents develop a better understanding of email and the internet.

The Excel for the Workforce Class, scheduled for June 29th at 10:15, will teach participants how to use cells, columns, rows, AutoSum, simple formulas, number formats, and page setup features. This class requires basic computer skills.
