A body found in Bull Shoals Lake Saturday was confirmed to be that of a missing Nashville, Arkansas, woman. According to Springfield television station KYTV, the Taney County Coroner’s Office has a positive identification of 31-year-old Whitney McDonald.

Police received a call around 6:30 Saturday morning from people fishing on the lake spotting a body on the water near Forsyth downstream from the Powersite Dam at Lake Taneycomo. The Western Taney County Fire Protection District water rescue team responded to recover McDonald’s body.

McDonald was the driver of a vehicle on Fall Creek Road in Branson a week ago when it was swept away by flash flooding. Thirty-seven-year-old Antonio Finley and 17-year-old Kaliea Munn, also of Nashville, were in the car with her. Their bodies were recovered last Sunday from Cooper Creek Resort.
