An accident involving a motorcycle in Boone County Wednesday has killed 71-year-old Margaret Brooks of Smithton, Missouri. According to Arkansas State Police Trooper Michael Valentin, in a report released Sunday , Brooks and 72-year-old Larry Brooks were southbound on a motorcycle on old Highway 65 getting onto Highway 65, when a southbound vehicle on Highway 65 crossed over into their lane, striking them.
Larry Brooks was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was not listed as a patient at the time of this report.
Conditions were clear at the road was dry at the time of the 2:43 in the afternoon accident.
