The Baxter County Quorum Court is scheduled to meet in regular session Tuesday evening at 6:00 in the second floor of the courthouse. Items on the meetings agenda, under new business, include several ordinances to appropriate fees to the Sheriff’s Department, the Buildings and Grounds Department, the Road and Bridge Department and the Human Resources Department.Other items on the agenda include the second reading of an ordinance to adopt changes to the Baxter County personnel policy manual.
The court will also consider several resolutions including support for the application of an automated records system grant. Resolutions confirming the appointment of Ben Strider to the Cotter-Gassville Rural Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners, Allen Sollis to the Tracy Area Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners and Heather Crunkleton to the Baxter County Board of Equalization will also be considered.
