The Mountain Home High School football team is looking for a new head coach following the resignation of David Joyce who has led the program for the last three years. Joyce is headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming as head coach of the Broncs who are a Class 3A team, the second largest classification in Wyoming.

Mountain Home went 4-7 overall and 4-3 in the 6A East last season. It was Mountain Home’s best season under Joyce as he leaves with a record of 5-26. His team finished 0-10 in 2014 and 1-9 in 2015. In 2015, Mountain Home beat Nettleton in week two to snap a 31-game losing streak. Last year’s win over Jacksonville broke a 33-game conference losing streak.

Joyce says it was a difficult decision to leave Mountain Home, but he couldn’t pass up the opportunity it gives his family.
