After the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) released its classification numbers over a month ago, Yellville-Summit’s high school athletic programs were expecting to drop from Class 3A to 2A when the next cycle begins in August next year. Yellville-Summit Superintendent Wes Henderson says the decision came after a counting error by the AAA and the Arkansas Department of Education was discovered.
