The vehicle was one of two police vehicles damaged. According to pursuit information from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Department, Arkansas State Police began chasing a juvenile in a vehicle on the Sheid Hopper Bypass, at 1:32 in the morning, after being clocked at 90 miles-per-hour.

The Mountain Home Police Department and the Baxter County Sheriff’s Department responded as well and the high speed chase continued to Ramble Lane, where a witness says a stop sign was struck at the corner of Ramble Lane and Heatherdown.

One of the Baxter County vehicles involved at some point was rammed by the suspect and sustained damage. The deputy was not injured. Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manual says during the chase a Mountain Home Police Officer took the lead and his vehicle also sustained approximately $800 worth of damage.
