A theatre in Branson was auctioned off Friday at the Taney County Courthouse. According to Springfield television station KYTV, The Baldknobbers sold on the courthouse steps for two-million dollars by OMB Investments Corporation.

The theatre was auctioned due to defaulting on a security agreement from 2006 with Central Bank of Branson. It was built in 1969 by the Mabe family, and the Baldknobbers Jamboree Show performed there until March when Brandon Mabe announced the show was moving. Since April, the show has performed in the New Shanghai Theatre on Missouri Highway 165.

The Baldknobbers Theatre originally went on the market with an asking price of $3.5 million.
