The Twin Lakes Area experienced heavy rains beginning in late April leading to different areas experiencing flooding. Due to the high waters, a large amount of debris has been found floating in Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes or washed up on their shorelines.

Case says it’s a different story on Norfork Lake as it is filled with more man-made materials.

Case adds the Corps normally has rules and regulations on picking up driftwood off the lakeshores, but the issues they’ve had with the flooding has forced them to temporarily change that.
