It’s no surprise that CMA Entertainer of the Year Garth Brooks is the highest-ranking country artist on the list, sharing the #26 spot with the legendary Elton John. Garth, however, only earned $60 million in the past 12 months, compared to rapper Sean Combs, who tops the list with $130 million.
You’ll find ACM Entertainer of the Year Jason Aldean farther down the list at #98, with $32.5 mill.
Former Entertainers of the Year Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan made roughly the same amount of money, according to the 2017 list. Kenny’s at #53 with $42.5 million, while Luke’s close by at #55, with half-a-million less.
Entertainment legend Dolly Parton is on par with one of the hottest pop stars on the planet, money-wise. She and Ed Sheeran each took $37 million to the bank to tie for the #71 spot, which also happens to be Parton’s age.
Florida Georgia Line and Toby Keith wrap up country’s contributions to the ranking. They’re both at #83, with $34.5 million.
