Tejcek leaving MHHS, search begins for new baseball coach

For the second time in a week, a head coach has resigned at Mountain Home High school. Jim Tejcek was hired Tuesday night as the new head baseball coach at Rome, Georgia. Tejcek spent ten years in Mountain Home, including the last four as head baseball coach. He was also an assistant coach for the high school football team, serving as offensive coordinator the last two years.
Tejcek says it’s tough leaving Mountain Home but he is excited about his future in Georgia.

Tejcek led the Bomber baseball team to a state runner up finish and twice to the quarterfinals of the state tournament.
