Two Twin Lakes Area residents were recently honored at a state convention held in Altus. Kim Szecsi of Lakeview and Ruth Basty of Mountain Home were elected to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles State Auxiliary. Both are members of local Aerie 3183 in Midway.Szecsi was elected to the position of State Madam Vice President and Basty will assume the duties of State Madam Conductor for 2017 through 2018.
The Fraternal Order of the Eagles raise money for dozens of local and national charities including Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Kindness Inc.
