Ozark Mountain Regional Public Water Authority has experienced a major line break that could affect all of their customers in Searcy and Newton Counties plus Valley Springs in Boone County. They hope to get repair parts by Wednesday evening and ask that everyone conserve water.A line break at the South Lead Hill Booster pumping station prevents water from being pumped into the Zinc storage tank. The 500,000 gallon Zinc tank is the second storage tank in the distribution system and supplies the affected systems. Northern Boone County systems of Diamond City, Lead Hill, and South Lead Hill are not impacted.
