The Ozark Mountain Regional Public Water Authority experienced a major line break recently and has issued a boil order for all OMRPWA water customers with the exception of Diamond City, Lead Hill, South Lead Hill, and Lake Bull Shoals Estates until samples are approved by the Arkansas Department of Health. They hope to receive expedited approval of the samples Friday.
The water transmission line break repair was completed at 8:20 Wednesday evening. Two pumps are running at full capacity to fill the Zinc tank quickly. They expect to have all customers back at full capacity by early morning.
