It was a good day for the Mountain Home Hurricanes swim team as they were in front of the home crowd Saturday. The Hurricanes won the meet over five other teams from the South Wind Conference.
Mountain Home was led by Katie Finley, Peeka Traver, Maddy Lynch, Will Yarborough, Joia Traver and Sierra Trogdon as each had first place finishes.
The Hurricanes will send swimmers to two different meets next weekend. Some will compete in the Junior Olympic Qualifier in Texarkana, and others will take part in a regular South Wind meet in Jonesboro.
