The Mountain Home School Board took action on a number of faculty recommendations during its annual work session meeting on Tuesday.
The following classroom teachers were approved: Stacey McKee, Miranda Dickerson, and Maribeth Hill, Nelson-Wilks-Herron Elementary; and Jessica Ables and Shelby Upshaw, Hackler Intermediate. In addition, Colleen Carpenter was approved as a SPED teacher at Mountain Home Junior High School. The six are new employees. The board also approved Bryan Maddox as a classroom teacher at Mountain Home High School and action was taken regarding a change in the contract of Mountain Home High School instructor Jeff Obert who has resigned as high school girls soccer coach.
