Amanda Estes of Mountain Home was given four years in prison after changing her plea to guilty on a variety of drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

The 34-year-old Estes was among a number of people arrested in January when officers went to a residence along Cochran Drive to follow up on a citizen tip that a person wanted for questioning in a theft case was at the residence.

Officers found Estes and two others hiding in an attached garage adjoining the residence.

In searching the residence, officers found a variety of drugs and drug paraphernalia, including methamphetamine, marijuana, hydrocodone, loaded and used syringes, several sets of digital scales and other item used to ingest and package drugs.

Estes was given 156 days credit for time served in the Baxter County jail prior to changing her plea and being sentenced.
