As a number of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ parks in Arkansas and Missouri remain closed due to spring floodwaters, the majority of the parks on the Twin Lakes are either fully or partially open to tourists and local residents. According to the Little Rock District’s Facebook page, Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes only have three parks each that are fully closed.

Dam Site, Highway K, Lakeview, Pontiac and Spring Creek are all of the parks on Bull Shoals Lake operated by the Corps that are fully open, and Bull Shoals-White River State Park is also open. Lead Hill Park is partially open with the high-water boat ramp usable, and Tucker Hollow is partially open with access to the ramp. Oakland, River Run and Theodosia are closed.

The parks fully open on Norfork Lake include Buzzard Roost, Gamaliel, George’s Cove, Hand, Howard Cove, Jordan, Panther Bay, Quarry, Red Bank, Talbert, Tracy and Woods Point. Bidwell Point, Cranfield and Robinson Point are partially open. Henderson Park is closed, but its high-water boat ramp is open. Pigeon Creek, Tecumseh and Udall are all closed.
