Mountain Home man arrested for shoplifting

A Mountain Home man is accused of stealing from a local business. According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel, 31-year-old Justin Richardson was arrested Sunday morning for shoplifting, a felony count of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance (Clonazepam) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released over nine hours later on $5,000 bond.

Officers arrived at the business after receiving a call of a shoplifting complaint, and they located Richardson in his vehicle in the business’ parking lot. According to the report, the officers were able locate the stolen property, two controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

Richardson has a court date scheduled for Thursday.
