The Zombies on display at Rock Hall of Fame

The iconic British Invasion band will be the subject of a special display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum beginning next Wednesday, July 12. Four members of the original lineup who still perform together today – singer Colin Blunstone, keyboardist/vocalist Rod Argent, bassist Chris White and drummer Hugh Grundy – will dedicate the display that day at 5 pm ET.

Among the items on display will be:

–Argent’s electric pianet, an electro-mechanical piano

–White’s bass guitar

–Grundy’s snare drum used on all of the band’s 1960s recordings

–sheet music from the Zombies’ first major hit, “She’s Not There”

–artwork from the band’s critically acclaimed album, Odessy and The Oracle, by Terry Quirk

The band members will also serve as guest participants in a British rock and roll history trivia game taking place from 6 – 6:15 pm that’s open to the public with paid admission and free to Rock Hall members.

The Zombies’ other hits included “She’s Not There” and “Time of the Season.” They recently concluded a North American tour commemorating the 50th anniversary of Odessey and the Oracle. For more information on the band, check their official website.
